Sales Policy

Clear. Transparent. Reliable. The terms that protect both our clients and our team — at every stage of your purchase.

01

Quotations and Pricing

  • Unless otherwise stated, all quotes we provide are valid for the period shown on the quote.
  • Prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless noted.
  • Quotations are based on information supplied by the client. Variations in specifications, delivery location, or council requirements may result in a revised quote.
  • Delivery and installation costs are site-specific and will be confirmed once final site details are reviewed.
02

Orders and Deposits

  • An order is confirmed upon receipt of a signed quotation or purchase agreement and a 50% deposit of the total project value.
  • The balance payment (remaining 50%) is due before shipment or installation of the building.
  • Staged payment terms may be arranged in writing for larger or custom projects.
  • All payments must be made by bank transfer or another approved payment method listed on your invoice.
03

Cancellations and Changes

  • Orders cancelled before production begins may incur a processing fee to cover administrative and design costs.
  • Orders cancelled after production or shipment has commenced are subject to a non-refundable deposit, as materials and manufacturing costs are already incurred.
  • Design or layout changes after order confirmation may affect pricing and delivery timeframes.
04

Lead Times and Delivery

  • Standard lead times are 6–10 weeks, depending on the model, order size, and port schedule.
  • Delays due to customs, transport, weather, or council approvals are beyond our control. Any changes will be communicated promptly.
  • Delivery includes transport to site and unloading unless otherwise stated.
  • Cranage, site access, or special handling requirements must be discussed beforehand.
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring safe and accessible delivery conditions on site.
05

Installation and Site Requirements

  • Installation includes setting up the modular structure, securing it per engineering specifications, and connecting pre-installed utilities (where applicable).
  • Clients must provide a level site with adequate foundation or footings, access for vehicles or cranes, and any required local approvals or permits.
  • If site conditions differ from those quoted initially, additional costs may apply for site preparation, equipment, or labour.
06

Warranty and After-Sales Support

  • All KonBuild structures are covered by a 12-month manufacturer's warranty from the delivery date, covering structural components and workmanship under regular use.
  • Fixtures and fittings carry their respective manufacturer's warranties.
  • Warranty claims must be made in writing, with supporting photos and documentation.
  • The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, natural disasters, or unauthorised modifications.
07

Compliance and Building Standards

  • All modular buildings supplied comply with the National Construction Code (NCC 2022) and relevant Western Australian variations.
  • The client is responsible for ensuring compliance with local council requirements, including building permits, zoning, and any additional approvals.
  • We can assist with documentation and liaise with your local council as part of our service.
08

Returns and Refunds

  • Due to the custom nature of modular construction, returns are not accepted once manufacturing has begun.
  • Refunds are only available where required by the Australian Consumer Law.
09

Ownership and Risk

  • Ownership of the building transfers to the client upon receipt of full payment.
  • Risk (including damage or loss) transfers to the client once the unit is delivered to site or installation has commenced.
10

Force Majeure

  • KonBuild will not be held liable for delays or non-performance resulting from circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather events, shipping delays, strikes, government restrictions, or material shortages.
11

Confidentiality and Privacy

  • All client information, designs, and site details are confidential and used only for project purposes.
  • We comply with all Australian Privacy Principles regarding data protection.
12

Acceptance of Terms

  • By confirming your order and paying a deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Sales Policy.
